A Certificate Award Ceremony was recently held at Flamingo Language Institute to recognize students’ with remarkable achievements. Awards presented included such categories as Great Progress in Learning, Popular Student, Speaking Fluently, Outstanding Cambridge Certificate Winner, Outstanding Reading & Writing, Leadership, Excellent Listening, Good Pronunciation, Early Age, and Student of the Year. The highest of all these awards, and the pinnacle of individual achievement, is the coveted Diamond Award.
Alice Nguyen Thai Ngoc Han is the highly gifted recipient of this honorable award. At a mere 11 years of age, Alice has managed to develop an amazing command of English from all angles. Alice’s teachers were all taken aback by the natural fluidity of her speech – her advanced pronunciation, enunciation, diction and cadence, her outstanding reading and writing abilities, and her highly responsive listening skills.
Alice’s parents looked on with well-deserved pride as it was further announced that Alice had received an impressive 15 shields in such Cambridge Exams as Starters, Movers and Flyers.
Alice is currently preparing for the Key English Test (KET), a rarity at such a young age. The entire faculty and leadership at Flamingo Language Institute are also proud of Alice, who was found, for all the wonderful accomplishments she has made, to be more than deserving of this year’s Diamond Award.
