My name is Brian. I’m 9 years old and I am from class 7B. Today I would like to tell you about my school. My school name is Flamingo, its main color is pink. My school has two floors and fifteen rooms.
Every day, I go to school at 5:30 PM, and the teacher always stands by the door and says “hi” to me. Then, I go inside to meet my head teacher and have my homework checked. Whenever I make a mistake, my teacher takes his time to help me understand and fix it. In the class, my teacher Mr. Dat teaches me the English grammar, and shows me how to read new words. My other teacher Mr. Tony lets us read the paragraph, and then, he will fix our pronunciation. I love it when my teacher gives candy to praise me for my good results.
The foreign teacher that I love best is Mr. Tony. He always helps me fix my mistakes in speaking. At the end of his class, he usualy gives us candy or lets us play a game called ‘tap the table’. The Vietnamese teacher that I love best is Mr. Dat. He often checks our homework and helps us memorize the spelling of some difficult words.
Besides the main curriculum, my school has a lot of events for their students, and the event that I like the best is the trip to Singapore. During that trip, I learned how to sign up for a Visa, and speak to foreigners. We went to some tourist attractions like Merlion, Universal Studio, and Garden by the Bay.
In the ‘Voice Over Skill’ class, we learned how to use our voice to express our emotion. In summer, my school usually organizes a trip to Happy Farm or Ong Vang Farm. They also spend a lot of time preparing for such special days as Halloween and Christmas. I love Halloween Day the most. That’s when we can play a lot of games like the Haunted House, Fire the Ghost.
I’ve got very good news to tell you. It was such an honor for me to receive the “DIAMOND AWARD 2022” at Flamingo Language School.
I think that kids from 5 to 14 years old can study at Flamingo because this school teaches particularly well. There are a lot of kind teachers who will give you candy when you study well like my teachers Mr. Dat and Mr. Tony and they explain how to read new words carefully. My English has improved a lot. I love my school so much!
