Hi! I’m Gina. Let me tell you something about my “home sweet home”. I first went to this school when I was five. I can still remember how shy I was on that day. I gave my Mom a tight grasp and I was too afraid to set foot in. Some teachers came to me and encouraged me to be confident. They, then, took me by the hand into the school. I could feel these warm feelings of love and I really appreciated that. They helped me become more confident by recommending me to participate in various activities at school. Flamingo Language Institute has a lot of extra-curricular activities such as speaking clubs, dance class, singing class and many other wonderful field trips.
One of my favorite events is the Christmas party. I was wearing a red floral dress which I had never worn before in my life, just on important occasions. We ate pizza and played many games on that day. I was very glad to have the opportunity to meet the Santa Claus. Like any other kids, I pleaded to see Santa. I guess no one has ever been able to see him in the daytime. He also gave me some gifts. That was really cool, huh? I will never forget those sweet memories. I will keep it forever in my mind.
Due to some reasons, I had to leave my beloved school in a while. I was so sad during that time, and I was looking forward to seeing my dear teachers, my friends again. I missed them so much! I kept asking mom when I would go back to school. And when I heard that I could come back to school soon, I was so happy! Do you know how much it means to me? I was very pleased to study at this school again. I promised my mom that I would study hard and she agreed to let me study here until I finish all courses. Week by week, my effort and my teachers’ devotion and encouragement began to pay off. I’m confident enough to speak to foreign teachers (whom I hadn’t dared to talk to). I’m currently the best student in my class. My mom is proud of me and I am proud of being a student at Flamingo Language Institute. If you want to improve your English, come here with me!
